FATF didnt add Russia from “Blacklist”

The International Anti-Money Laundering Group (FATF) has decided against adding Russia to the “gray” or “black” lists, which could have further isolated the Russian economy.

According to reports, the “black” list of countries established by FATF remains unchanged following the meeting. It still includes North Korea, Iran, and Myanmar.

Cameroon, Croatia, and Vietnam have been added to the “gray” list of countries subject to enhanced monitoring.

Meanwhile, FATF has acknowledged that Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine contradicts the organization’s principles.
