Citizens of Ukraine can now stay in Georgia for up to 2 years without registration of documents for residence

The government of Georgia allowed citizens of Ukraine to stay in the country for up to 2 years without the need to apply for a visa and residence permit. The relevant resolution was published on the official website of the Legislative Herald of Georgia.
Document No. 81 was adopted on February 24, 2023 and amends the Decree of the Government of Georgia dated June 5, 2015 “On approval of the list of countries whose citizens can enter Georgia without a visa.”
According to the changes, now the citizens of Ukraine have the right to stay in Georgia for a full 2 ​​years.
