International Task Force Formed to Combat Terrorism Financing

On the website of the Israeli Financial Intelligence Agency, a statement was published about the creation of a Task Force, which involved the financial intelligence units of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The goals of establishing the Task Force include:

1. Enhancing financial intelligence regarding terrorism financing and associated financial flows and economic activities.
2. Accelerating and expanding the exchange of financial information on issues related to terrorism financing and associated financial flows and economic activity.
3. Discussing advanced experiences of financial intelligence, drawing lessons, and identifying additional opportunities for combating and preventing terrorism financing.
4. Strengthening and improving working relationships between financial intelligence units and relevant governmental bodies and the private sector to minimize this threat.
